Adjustment of Status ready but no EAD?
Hello everyone!
I just wanted to share my case because this forum has been very helpful to me.
12.07.2015 Send package with I-130, I-485, I-864 and I-765
12.16.2015 USCIS recevied package and update status.
01.01.2016 Fingerprints request.
01.16.2016 USCIS status changed to request for initial evidences
01.20.2016 Fingerprints appointment
02.11.2016 USCIS received response of initial evidence
02.23.2016 Status change to "ready to be schedule for the interview"
So right now, like many of us, I am waiting to have news about my EAD. Since I came with a J-1 visa I can't work any longer under it. How long use to take to be approved for the EAD since we are ready for the interview?
