19 days and didn't get the USCIS reciept of AOS.
Hi Guys,
Is any one from the New York area that has a similar situation like me?
I filed my AOS (F1 visa through marriage), the Petition, EAD and advance of parole and send them all together to Chicago Box by UPS and got received on the 7th February 2016. It has been 19 days without receiving any E-notification or receipt. I have read that most people receive it withing a week.
I called USCIS and they said wait 30 days. ...I don' t really understand? why some people got the reciept right away and others no??
please, it would be nice to hear a similar story.
