Timeline. St. Paul, MN
Hey everyone,

Thank you all for sharing your experiences! This forum helped me a lot. I’m adjusting my status from F-1 ( Spouse of U.S. citizen )
Here is my timeline so far:

12/04/2015  Delivered to Chicago office. Priority day
12/09/2015  USCIS receipt by email and text
12/10/2015 Check cashed
12/14/2015  Notice of Action receipt
12/26/2015 Biometric letter received
12/28/2015 Biometric done ( walk in. St Paul office. Officers were very friendly and helpful. It took less then 20 min )
01/11/2016 RFE  was mailed
01/13/2016 RFE in mail box
01/28/2016 Infopass appointment about RFE. For us it was a waste of time. I felt that she wasn’t trying to help and didn’t have information we needed. Just read some instructions. Useless.
02/01/2016 Response to RFE sent to USCIS
02/04/2016 Response to RFE delivered to USCIS
02/08/2016 Response to USCIS request for evidence was received
02/19/2016 EAD/AP approved. New card is being produced
02/23/2016 Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
02/25/2016 Combo card delivered to me
Next step is to apply for SSN and wait for interview…

Also I was able to get my driver license for 5 years next day after I received Form I-797, notice of action ( I-485, application to register permanent residence or adjust status). People in DMV were very mean to me but I didn’t care as long as they approved my DL. They asked for passport and 1 more ID, Form I-797, I-94 ( printed from site ), marriage certificate because I changed my last name.

RFE: They asked us for tax return 2014 but we didn’t have one because my husband started to work in July, 2015 and before he was a full-time student. We previously explained it in form i 864 and attached all pay stabs, letter from employer as a prove that he is making enough money. Obviously it wasn’t enough  so we decided just to file tax return for 2015 asap and send it.

Is anyone here filling with local office in St Paul, MN ? I'm trying to get an idea how long it may take to get an interview here. How long did you wait after your case status was "ready to be scheduled for an interview"?

I wish good luck to everyone! Be patient and stay positive!
