Hello immihelp family!
Definitely LOVE this website! I'm here everyday to see if there are any updates/info regarding this long and annoying journey of getting Green Card.
My timeline (hopefully it will give some peace of mind to NYC fillers):
Background: F1 student on STEM extension married US Citizen
12/14/2015 case received by USCIS in Chicago, IL (I-485, I-130, and I-765)
01/03/2016 biometric appointment letter received
01/13/2016 biometrics completed (around 1hr, in the Bronx)
01/22/2016 online status for I-485 changed to "ready to be scheduled for an interview"
02/29/2016 I-765 approved. New card is being produced.
Today (02/29/2016) marked 10 weeks since our application got to USCIS office.
There is a progress... Now we have to wait for the interview date. Based on the posts of others located in NYC it takes approximately 6 months from the date the case was received until the actual interview. I guess June will be my month! Fingers crossed!
