I had my GC interview today and wanted to share my experience as I read through many of yours comments or post to have a cue on what we would be facing.

Our interview was at 2:00PM at the JFK building. We arrived there at 1:30PM and were called in the next 10 mins. The AOS came and told me that he was going to interview my husband first and then call me in.

After half an hour he called me in. He was a very friendly person and quite approachable. The questions he asked me as follows:
Your full name, DOB, your husbands full name and DOB, Where do you live, when did you get married, when did you first meet, Who introduced you, if its a mutual friend of yours which in our case she was, he asked how did you meet that mutual friend of yours and how did your husband meet her, when did you go on a first date, did you meet there or he picked you up from your house,How many bedrooms do you have, do you have any roommates, did you ever have roommates, did you talk about your marriage before the engagement, who proposed to whom and how, have you met each others parents and then he moved to the yes or no questions.

After 15 mins he told us that everything looked good and he approved our case and i should receive my GC in 2 weeks.

After we got out my husband told me that he asked way more detailed questions, these are the ones he could remember:

• What is your age? Birth date? Spouse’s age and birth date?

• Who takes care of paying the bills?

¥ What size is your bed (Twin, Queen, or King)? What is the size of other beds in the house?
¥ How many staircases are in your house?

¥ How many bedrooms and bathrooms are in your house or apartment in total?

• When did you decide to get married? Where were you at the time?
