Here is an update of my timeline:
12.16.15 Received package at USCIS and status update.
01.01.16 Request of fingerprints
01.16.16 Request of Initial Evidence
01.20.16. Fingerprints appointment
02.11.16 USCIS received response of initual evidence and update status.
02.23.16 Status changed to "ready to be schedule for interview"
02.24.16 Status changed (again) to "ready to be schdule for interview"
02.29.16 Day 75 from EAD request. Inquiry created
03.01.16 EAD: Case assigned to an officer to response. (Day 76)
03.01.16 EAD: Your case is currently under review. you should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly. (Day 76)
03.07.16 EAD: Status changed to "we ordered your new card" and couple hours after "we approved your Form I-765" (Day 82)
03.09.16 EAD: "Your card was mailed to you" (Day 84)
Now I wonder, since I am transitioning from a J-1 Visa to a GC. Should I go to update my work status to the SSN office before I start working?
