Asylum-based GC (NYC)
Hello guys,
I have been reading this forum on a daily basis and found it very helpful.
I have been granted political asylum in Dec 2014, so I was eligible to apply for a GC a year later.
Here is my timeline:
12/20 UPS drop-off
12/24 Package delivered
12/29 I-485 receipt
12/30 Check cashed
1/2 Biometrics appt notice
1/19 Biometrics done
3/10 GC being produced
72 days total - current timeframe is 4 months (according to USCIS).
So now, I just to wait for my GC to arrive in the mail in the next 10 days or so.
