Interview cancelled with no reason ?!
Hi. Guys. I am a New York October filer and I received my interview notice today stating that onMarch 4 , my interview had been scheduled for April 11,2016. I was very excited. But when I checked my case status online, it says the interview was cancelled on March 9. I called the UsCIS helpline, the personnel just told me that the interview was cancelled and I should wait for the cancellation notice and it maybe explain the reason. I got really freaked out about what happened in one day. I have read some forums about the interview cancellation and some suggest that You should still go on the date the interview originally got regardless, even if you receive the cancellation letter or rescheduling letter. It has been said that if you don't show, the case will be closed. Some forums said that it's no need to go on the original date and the interview will rescheduled within one month or two months. I have no idea whether I should prepare my documents now or later. Do I need to make an info pass ? or hire a lawyer to check my case in person? Has anyone experienced the same issue ? If yes, what's the outcome ? I really appreciate your response !!
