Adjustment of Status - I-485

so this is a follow up to everyone in nyc . I went for my interview this morning with my significant other and on the spot the officer told us that she is leaning towards approving us but she needs to run a background check first. Came home catch up on much needed sleep then checked my email cased is approved card is being produced!!!! Thank God that's all i can say. The officers was very nice she took our joint accounts info, notary letter two pics 2015 taxes which we filed together and an old lease which is in my mother in laws name. The questions where easy and if your in a bonafide relation you will know how to answer. Tell the truth and explain whatever needs to be explained be polite and dress conservative. We didn't have a lawyer i did all the paper work. I noticed that majority of the people in waiting had lawyers but dont be discouraged every case is different. Good luck to all have faith in God xx
