I-130 approved I-485 pending
Hello everyone,
My husband and I had our interview on March 21, 2016. The IO was very nice lady. She didn't ask us to many questions, just usual "how you met?" "Where was the wedding?" "Who attended?" "What type of dog you have? What's his name?" Looked thru the photo album, then asked yes/no questions. She said everything looked good to her and that she would recommend us for approval. She did mentioned that she has been working there for only 1,5 months and wants to review all the papers one more time and that it might take up to 3 months to get a green card approval. The next day my on-line status for I-130 changed to "case was approved", but my I-485 to "Name was updated" (my lawyer didn't put my middle name in the application). Reading posts on this site, I noticed that usually I-130 and I-485 get approved at the same time when you filed all of them together. I'm a little nervous. Does anyone know what could be the reason for my I-485 still pending? And if anyone had the same experience? And how long did you wait before your I-485 got approved?
