hi everyone, so i had my interview this week, and it was nerve racking, we got there 20 minutes early, and we got called in 10 minutes later, it was a caucasian officer, after taking the oath, he asked for proof of co-habitation, we gave him health insurance, vehicle insurance, rentals, savings account, pictures, and lease agreement . The officer said he needed more evidence, like a checking account in our name, or a credit card statement, so after that, he asked me to leave, and interviewed my husband for 110 minutes approximately, i wasn't nervous, he calls me in, and interviews me also, asking questions like
how we met?
who proposed?
where was it done?
what happened on our wedding day?
what did we do after our wedding?
how many siblings he has?
what i got my husband for his birthday and christmas
if we have travelled together?
what we did on easter sunday?
when last we had a dinner date? location and restaurant name?
information about the house arrangement>
who sleeps on what side of the bed?
what he wore to bed last night?
what food we ate?
last time we visited his parents?
after this horrific interview questions. he tells me "he won't be able to give me a verdict today, and he has to sleep on the case, and thoroughly investigate, i should get a feedback before 90 - 120 days", i almost punched him in his face, why make me pass through this nerve racking questions, and break my heart by telling my you have no result for me, he walks me out, my husband and i had the saddest look on our faces, three hours spent in hells kitchen.
i get home, watch an episode of the people vs Oj simpson, it was so amazing, that i had to open my laptop just to read reviews on it, something just said i should check the USCIS status whatever, i summoned every nerve in me, to type in my case number.
BAMMMMM!!!!!!!!!! my case was approved. YAYYYYYYYYYYY
