Adjustment of Status - I-485

We had our interview yesterday in long island. I am sharing my experience with all of you who are waiting for their green card interview and full with anxiety . I would not go in day by day details, total time it took us to get to this interview was 11 months. We did our home work from the day we got the notice for interview and go through every single forum or a single site available on Internet (most of them). What we learned from this experience is if you are a genuine couple you dont need to worry about anything just go for it and you will get it. Prepare all the required documents and take a nice photo album of your family and wedding. We hired an attorney but believe me its waste of money, you can fill your forms on your on as we did (even we had attorney) , you do not need any attorney at the time of your interview. Our interview last for 8 minutes and got instant approval on the spot. The whole process take a lot of patience and it may be overwhelming but end of the day you will get your green card just be positive and dont forget to collect as many document as you can to prove your marriage.
