Timeline for i485 and i140 Concurrent filing - Employment Based
Hi all,
This site has been invaluable in helping me so I wanted to share my experience and hope its helpful to others going through the same:
Priority date is current.
Nov 12, 2015: Filed i-131, i-765 and i-140 & i-485 (concurrent, employment based)
Nov 17, 2015: Receipt of all applications acknowledged
Nov 17, 2015: Finger print fee accepted
Dec 16, 2015: ASC appointment notification for you to appear for fingerprinting on December 30th
Dec 30, 2015: Finger printing done (Found out later I could have walked in sooner and perhaps sped up the process)
Jan 07, 2016: Status updated to: New EAD card ordered
Jan 12, 2016: New EAD combo card received in mail and status update accordingly
Mar 09, 2016: Status updated to: i-140 approved
Apr 06, 2016: Status updated to: i-485 approved and card ordered.
Expect to get the my actual card in the mail in approximately 2 weeks.
