Advance Parole after Biometrics
I need help with an urgent situation please. I am an F-1 OPT student (OPT is valid till August 2016). I have submitted green card application (forms i-485, i-765, and i-130). My biometric took place on 4/14/16 in Phoenix, AZ. I now have an emergency at home in India (grandfather has suddenly become terminally ill) and I want to apply for emergency Advance Parole (AP) for Humanitarian Purposes so I can go home to India. My Infopass appointment is tomorrow morning (4/19). My questions are:
1. Is it wise to leave the country if i-485 is pending? What are my chances of being allowed back in?
2. Will I have to do my biometric again for AP, even though I completed my biometric just 4 days ago?
3. Can I leave the country before AP is approved? Can immi send the approval to consulate in my home country, India?
4. Will this delay my EAD and/or Green card significantly?
