April 2016 GC filer (family based) Timeline
I am filing for my Green Card (family based, spouse is US Citizen). I originally came on F1, then onto H1B, then filed for AOS. H1B expired before my priority date. I was already married then, so I decided to just wait 1 more year for my husband to get his (naturalized) US Citizenship. AOS employment based was taking too long and costing more money to wait for.

My Updated USCIS Timeline so far:

4/14/16 (Thursday): Mailed out I-130, I-485, I-765 & I-131 (Priority Mail)
4/15/16 (Friday): Received notice via USPS that package was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox at 1:04 pm.
4/20/16 (Wednesday): Received 4 separate emails at 6:45am (PDT) that the 4 applications had been accepted, and assigned 4 separate receipt numbers beginning with "MSC". My two checks were also cashed. Checked online and receipt number were not showing up in the system yet.
4/23/16 (Saturday): Received 4 paper notices in the mail. Receipt numbers are still not showing up on the online system.

It's so hard to stay patient. Every single day we just want to keep clicking to see if anything has changed. I guess we have no choice but to be patient and I hope that this will be as short of a journey as possible.

Ps. I filed all the paperwork myself and did not use a lawyer.

If you filed around the same time, I'd love to know how yours is going as well.

Thank you.
