Received green card /interview experience at Houston office
So finally we are DONE, priority date was may 26 and today I've received my card in the mail.
The interview was last Tuesday the 19th and here's how it went down.
We, hubbs and I got there at 11:40, interview was at 12:45 so we waited in the truck a while, made sure to text our attorney when we went in since phones have to be off.
Our attorney had another couple at exactly the same time so she took them in first, she said we were an easier case and this couple might take longer, which they took about 45min inside. She came out at around 1:40 and like at 1:50 we got called in.
Our officer, Mr Peterson was nice and polite, we sat took an oath he asked for id/dl, my passport, went trough all those questions on the application about torturing people and belonging to communist groups, if you've ever committed a crime and all that. He asked for our proof, we gave him our joint account statements, tax returns, hubby's check stubs for this year, insurance card with both our names. I pulled out the pictures he glanced at them but didn't even pick them up. Asked if we had any bills for my pregnancy, but we only had the insurance card, asked about the pregnancy and said ok I'll request the card now. And that's it. The whole thing lasted probably 15min as we were in the truck fixing to drive off at 2:15

He also said when the time came to take the conditional off we probably didn't need an interview just send the baby's birth certificate and same stuff we took in. I'm pretty sure it was easier because of my big belly lol (I'm actually going in to have her tomorrow)

I was really nervous but seriously it was the easiest thing that we went through all week, (had a few er visits last week)
Good luck everyone still waiting :)
