The EB-1 Extraordinary Ability Alien
So I went out on a limb and tried EB-1, after Nebraska Service Center told me no Premium Processing for EB-2 category. Here's my timeline - self-sponsored and self-filed without a lawyer:
I-140 Approved September 2015
I-765 Oct 2015 (concurrently filed, since that's free!) receipt notification
Nov 2015 Biometrics Appointment Buffalo
I-765 Jan 2016 Request for Evidence - needed new photos
March 2016: EAD card arrived
March 2016: I-485 RFE for proof of future employment intentions
April 2016: Green Card arrived in the mail!
Thank you NSC, thank you USCIS! Quite the journey - miracles can happen!
Now to get my wife sorted out ... will update...
