I-485 Current USCIS Status
My wife, recently married, is from China with her last arrival being November 30 2014. Her VISA expired May 11 2015. She applied for permanent residency based on political Asylum and was issued a employment authorization card October 13, 2015, she has not been to the interview yet. We were married in April 2016 and we are wanting to change her filing status to be based on our marriage instead of political asylum. On the I-485 it asks what her USCIS Status is and asks about an expiration date. I don't know what they are asking.
