At the interview:
We are an older couple which is unusual for marriage AOS.
Arrived at 11:30 10+ minute line at reception
just before 12 AO calls us in
Checks IDs that swears us in
When through application with beneficiary, that asked all the ridiculous questions (involved in prostitution/ are you a terrorist? etc)
Then asked how we met... We told him about the past five years...... he looked at every picture in our album. It was like showing pictures to friends he was very interested in them.
Gave us the conditional approval notice and explained 2 year procedure.
I asked about a I-551 stamp for passport as will be traveling when card arrives. That process took approximately 15 minutes.
We went extremely well prepared and professionally dressed.
