Interview Experience - NYC
I had my interview today at Federal Plaza in NYC.
We got there 20min before the appointment time. Had to go through metal detector gates and our IDs were checked. In the waiting room we got our number and they called us around 30min after the appointment time. The numbers have been called not in the correct order so you don't really know when is your turn.

The IO (very nice lady) swar us and asked for marriage licence and both birth certificates. She compared it with the copies that have been sent with the application. After that she started asking questions. Just a reminder I'm here on F1 visa.
Questions to the petitioned (my husband US Citizen)
*whats your wife full name
*when your wife was born
*where your wife was born
*what are the names of her parents
*were does her parents live
*have you ever meet her parents
*does your wife work
*how long she's working with the company
*whats her position at the company
*does your wife went to school in US
*whene did she graduate
*whats the degree on her diploma
*how you meet your wife
*when was the first date
*when did you get married
*where your wife lived before you got married
After that she started asking me (beneficiary)
*whats your husband name
*when your husband was born
*where was he born
*what are the names of his parents
*have you even meet his parents
*where your husband live when you meet him
*where does your husband work and if he's full time or part time
*yes/no questions from the form

After that she asked us to show all joint documents. As I mentioned in one of my posts before we did not have much joint doc. We only shower our lease, zip car membership, phone family plan, electric gas bill, and letter from our parish stating that we are known in the church. She asked if we have tax return together, bank accounts, and health insurance which we don't have together. She was okay with that but said "if you will apply to remove the conditions from the 2yr GC you will have to show more join documents. Especially bank account, tax return and health insurance" she mentioned "you guys are very fresh married but have to start collecting joint docs". After that she went over the photo album and took 3 pictures. Finally she took copies of our passports and escorted us outside.

So? We did not get the magic words "you are approved" or approval letter.... The online status did not change either. Mixed feelings.
