Hello everyone,
My I-765 application has been pending pass 90 days now and I wonder what next step can I take. I've submitted a service request via phone on day 76 that I received no response, I just submitted another one online today since it officially passed normal processing time (90 days).
I am trying to get an infopass appointment but none is available (I will keep trying) at NYC Federal Plaza, but from what I've read here, most of the times these appointment are not very helpful.
Would getting in touch with my congresswomen be the next step? Do I need to wait longer before doing that?
Any suggestions are appreciated, this waiting with no update at all is super frustrating and reading the experiences on here has been very helpful.
My timeline:
Concurrent filing: I-130, I-485, I-765
Priority date: 2/29/2016
Biometrics (I-765): 4/8/2016
Biometrics (I-485): 5/2/2016
Service Request (I-765 pending pass 75 days): 5/16/2016 [No response at all, status remains "your inquiry is currently not assigned for processing"]
Service Request (I-765 outside normal processing time): 5/31/2016 [Current status: "your inquiry is currently not assigned for processing"]
