For a marriage to a U.S. citizen (filing based in New York City), in general, what is the estimated current time (in months) from the priority date (PD) to the actual interview date?
The reason I am inquiring is that I am planning for travel outside the U.S., and the estimated timeline will help me in that planning. I would not like to buy air tickets and pay a heavy cancellation fee without at least understanding the general timeline.
