sometime in November, not sure Case ready to be scheduled for an interview
05/12/2016 Scheduled interview for 06/14/2016
06/14/2016 Interview

Interview was supposed to be at 7.45am. We arrived about 15 mins before time but didn't get called in till about 45 mins after the interview time. The officer was very friendly and even made some jokes during the interview. Asked very basic questions: when and where did you get married? what are your inlaws names? etc. Took documents we brought i.e. utility bills, joint bank statements, insurance cards etc Brought an album but he took only a few pictures. Interview lasted less than 30 mins and we were out. Was kind of disappointed when he said he was going to review my case before coming up with the decision as I was expecting to be approved on the spot given how the interview went. Got the approval notice the next day however and a week later, that's today, got the green card in the mail.

Thank you to all for your experiences and your help. My advice to all those still to go is, make sure you have as many joint documents as possible, relax and be calm during the interview and all will be well. Good luck to all
