Visa Stamping from Canada/ Mexico

Guys, here is my experience in getting h1 stamped in ottawa canada.
Get your canada visa atleast 3 4 weeks in advance. It takes 10 days to get canada visa approval
And 3 4 days to get it stamped.
Apointments keep opening up every week in ottawa. So keep looking for dates.
Try to reach ottawa atleast 1 2 days in advance.
I missed my connecting flight and had to miss my appointment.
But after 24hr they open a link to inform them about missed appointment and reason for that.
They may allow you to rebook with no fees. I got the rescheduling approval and booked again for the next wek.
This time I traveled 2 days in advance.
I booked accommodation on airbnb which was v cheap as compared to hotels. I booked for 7 days.
In ottawa bus is costly about 3.5 dollar per ride.
Taking uber is better and cheap too.
On the stamping day 21st June -
My appointment was at 10am but I went at 830 only
There are lockers inside so u can take your phone etc. And check it in there.
There were 10 ppl ahead of me but the process was v slow as the vo was taking long interviews.
He rejected all work and student applications and approved only visitor visas.
Fortunately at 10 another window opened ad the lady quickly approved applications.
I was lucky to get to that window.
She asked only 2 questions. Who's client? And how long with cliemt?
That's it. Approved.
The other guy was asking for every possible document and then in the end giving pink slip or rejecting.
So carry all your possible docs with u.
I got email on 22nd that the passport is sent to Canada post office and mostly I'll pick up tomorrow 23rd.
Waiting for passport now.
