Vancouver H1B Interview Experience - Admin Processing
Today was my second visa stamping interview in Vancouver. I was with the same employer last time (Vendor and Client changed).
Straight forward case with no issues- all documents clear. 3 years ago I got the passport back in 2 days without any issues.
This time the interviewer gave me a letter - "DS-160 is incomplete; make necessary changes & submit" (which is clearly not 221g). He did not check any of my documents after asking me if I am with same employer (checked the basic documents) and told me to wait for their e-mail.
He took my passport,I797 and asked me how many days it took last time to get passport. I told two and he told it will take more time this time as they will needs to do Administrative processing.
He did not allow me to ask any more questions and kept on repeating to "wait for their e-mail".
Please let me know your views. Will update the post if I get any information.
