H1B, H4 Visa

Thanks for sharing your experiences, and here is mine.

Went to stamping for H1b for me and my wife today. Slot was at 9.30.

vo: Is your employer xxx?
me: yes
vo: Do you directly work for employer xxx or have client?
me: yes i have client
vo: what is client name?
me: AAA
vo: Salary per annum?
me: told
vo: what is your highest education?
me: Master's
vo: Which state you live in?
me: told
wifes turn
vo: how long you been married?
wife : told
vo: Are you working as well?
wife: no ( as she is on depended visa)
vo: what is your education?
wife: told
Meanwhile she took white form which i knew kind of 221g.
vo: ok your visa is issued.
i hand question in my mind as why she took 221g.
vo wrote case number and said your petition number is not update in our system, it might take 2 days extra and repeated, there is no issue with your visa. we just need some extra time, max 5 days.There is nothing wrong and we dont need any extra documents.

There is nothing check marked in 221g , so i felt happy as well.

Interview was quick and less than 2 mins. Most of them were parents coming for stamping and some h1bs.

Definitely there would be some worry as its an interview. But VOs are there to issues visa. Have proper documentation, that it self gives us immense confident and answer appropriate to questions, Thats it.
My wife insist in writing our experience as she was reading all that is posted here and helped.
