visa interview experience
Profile- i am a 20 year old student and had applied with mom
it got rejected first time on 19.01.16 at Mumbai Consulate
We had again applied for it on 13.04.16 at Mumbai Consulate
The questions were as follows:
We both were wearing our respective icards
We: Good morning! How are you?
VO: I am good what about you? Please pass the passports.
 VO; Why are you travelling to the USA?
Mom: To attend graduation of my only niece and for tourism.
VO: Your niece is in which school?
Mom: answered accordingly
VO:Where do you work?
Mom: answered xyz in abc company for xx years.
VO (to me): what do you do?
me: I am 2nd year college student.
VO: is this bachelors or masters course?
me: bachelors.
VO: have you ever travelled earlier to foreign?
me: no
VO(to mom): do you have any relatives there?
mom: yes i have my brother and sister there.
VO: what does your brother do?
Mom: answered accordingly
VO: took our passports and said THANK YOU, YOUR VISAS HAVE BEEN APPROVED!

Thank you immihelp for all the support.
The VO was a nice lady.
Tips;
1. Always wear your official icards, it gives a formal touch
2. Be polite and always wish the VO
3. Dont get nervous and answer to the point.
4.Dont be over enthusiastic.
