Visa rejected
My mother went to Chennai consulate on 18th august 2005 and she had an appointment in English. One American guy interviewed her. After seeing Qatar visa stamped on her passport, he started asking several questions and mother couldn't understand many of them. She was asked to take an appointment in native language.

Unfortunately there was no appointment in 2005 and 2006 is not open yet. They never looked at the documentation, which is prepared after taking painful hours, but took the DD. They also took the thumbprint.

How can she get an appointment in native language immediately? They could have given an appointment then itself.

The experiences I have heard from others at the consulate is very disturbing. Why would they give so much pain for elderly people who wanted to visit their kids in USA?
