First I would like to thank Immihelp for all the wonderful information. We prepared our documents totally based on the info here on this site.
My parents had their appt on June 8th in Chennai. Since they were comfortable we took thier appt in ENGLISH. (However acc to my parents they found it difficult to understand the Consulate officer's Accent).
Here are the questions they asked
How many Kids?
Why do u want to go to US?
How long do u plan to stay there?
Monthly Income in India.
When did ur daughter visit you last?
and they CO went thru my parents tax details and employment documents.
they got their 10 year visa.
Only thing was they got my mom's name spelling wrong on the Visa.. so i am hoping they will get it corrected before they come here.
