Visitor Visa End Dates Query
Hello - My dad is currently in US staying with me in Delaware. He arrived on a visitor's visa on 05/12 and his port of entry was JFK. While being asked at the immigration counter of his length of stay, he mentioned it as a couple of months. The officer then stamped his passport with a date until 07/12. When I looked up is I-94 online, it has a 11/11/2019 date there, which is the 6 months of stay. We would like him to stay with us until August end. Since this is beyond the date mentioned in the passport [ but within the date in I-94] I wanted to understand if this is a violation.
