Vistor visa
My parents had their visa appointment yesterday at 8 30 in the morning. They had chosen Kannada as the medium.
My husband was the sponsorer and we had sent all the documents according to what was mentioned here on immihelp.
My parents were asked the following questions

1. What is your daughter's name ?
2. What is your son in law's name ?
3. Where does your son in law work ?
4. (To my father) What do you do ? ans retired
5. (To my father) Where were you working ?
6 . The above two questions were asked for my mother as well.
7. How many children do you have ?
8. Do you have any property ?
9. What is your monthly income ?

The officer then said they had got the visa and that they would recieve their passports within a week. Though they were prepared with all the documents, they were not asked to show them.

Tips for future visa interviewees :
Like loads of people here have said, it is important to know what is written in your DS-156/157 forms, say your answers clearly and confidently, keep all the supporting documents ready and most importantly say the truth as the visa officers may cross question. Best of luck !!
