Hello House,
I received my work permit this year February and officially started work in May. Prior to that I was working as an intent in the same company since 2019 May in view of my status. During my initial discussion with the recruiter he asked me how long have I worked in US here and I informed him 1 year 4 months. I have been scheduled for official interview but the recruiter stated the will do Employment Verification to confirm
1. When I started working in the US
2. My salary since I started working
I want to ask those who have experienced similar situations if the verification will show that I started working in May this year and not last year as I was not officially paid(ie not paying social security, just stipends
2. Will the verification also confirm the exact amount I earned since my official job.
The job is good to start my “American Dream” but I don’t have answers to the questions asked.
Will be much grateful if I could get help as to how I should go about it.
I came as B2 Visa, marriage based green card.
