Hi everyone,
My visa interview was on Aug 7, 2018. I am transferring from F1 to H1B. The officer asked a bunch of straightforward questions, which I answered. Towards the end she said that your visa has been approved but due to a database issue it will take 5-7 business day for the stamping. I asked about the issue and she said that system is trying to assign me another F1 visa instead of H1B...
The status on CEAC website changed to Administrative Processing on Aug 7 and has been the same for the last 3 weeks. Like most people I have called and emailed US travel docs folks but have only gotten canned response.
Does any one know what is going on?
