Waiting time after i-485 interview
Hi guys,
It's been almost a year since our AOS marriage interview in Las Vegas, NV. At the end of the interview the officer gave us the white paper saying we should hear from them in 120 days.
It's been 334 days and no news so far. All my inquiries end with: "Background check is not complete". Our last inquiry stated: "Due to factors not related to your case, the waiting times are longer...etc". Most likely because of the COVID.
I'm sitting here, doing research after research, statistics of past cases, just to help me with this waiting.
I noticed that people who get their i-485 approved get their i-130 approved prior, or their passports stamped.
Does anybody know different stories? I know someone whose case was approved 600 days after the interview. But that is just one story...
