Hi everyone,
So My PD is August 4, 2016 and is follow-to-join which my father is a permanent resident and I'm the child under 21. My I-485 case has been pending without any updates since my PD date. It only shows "fingerprint fee received" on the website. My case is in Texas Service Center and it seems they are the slowest, they didn't really process anything since Jan. Last time I checked the timeline they already processed to August 30, 2016 with already went beyond my PD date. I was going to do an inquiry, but my lawyer said It's only been 7 months and if I did a request they would tell me to wait. I'm so worried and frustrated that have seen many people filed after me got their interviews done but mine seems no progress at all. I know it's normal for I-485 to take 6-8 months but still... Does anyone have similar experiences? Thanks and good luck to you all!
