Adjustment of Status - I-485

I Just left me and my wife’s interview and it was a very complicated. The officer was very rude. She asked my wife two questions about our relationship and that’s it she barely requested any of the evidence we brought and was so interested in the fact that we live with her grandpa and even took it upon herself to walk me out the rooms question my wife and EVEN CALLED HER GRANDPA TO VERIFY IF I LIVE THERE AND THAT WERE MARRIED. I left my medical in the car by mistake and asked can I grab it quickly and she said NO you have to mail it in along with proof that I live there from the landlord. Although I have Literally every bill to that address and my license also. And she made us both sign a paper saying that if were lying that we both can be penalized. I was wondering is it because we are same sex? And she also added that she may request our joint tax return be amended because I added my niece who I had half of last year living with me on my tax return. I was just blown away. At the end she told my wife she will send a letter for me to send my medical and letter from landlord. (Hialeah office)
