Hi everyone. This forum was a huge help for me through the long wait for the interview.
PD 12/12/2016
FP 01/11/2017 (around this date)
Interview notice: 07/05/2017
Interview: 08/07/2017
Oath: 08/10/2017
The wait was stressful. I called many times, which wasn`t helpful. When I finally got to L2 officer, she told me that everything was fine with my application and they are just a little late. She placed a service request to WPB office regarding my application. Shortly after that call, my interview was scheduled.
During the interview I was asked questions from my application: where do I work, and if my address is still the same. Then she asked to confirm the address before that . She also asked if I went out of the country after filing, and I gave her the dates. I was asked to read "When is the Flag day?" and then to write "The Flag day is in June." They tell you what to write. For the civics I was asked 1) What is the Supreme Law of the Land 2) What we pledge allegiance to 3) Who we fought in WW2 4) Who vetoes the bills 5) Who signs the bills and I cant remember the last question. Guys, the questions are very easy, but you won`t pull it off without studying. So, study study study!!! Listen to CD in the car, there is tons of on-line tests too. Also, be very familiar with your application.
Tips : memorize the name of the officer (in case things go wrong); bring everything that`s listed in your interview letter (marriage certificate, divorce decree, all passports including expired ones, driver`s licence with current address; you can create an IRS account and print your tax records showing that you don`t owe anything, bring your taxes. You may be asked questions about marriage (may or may not). Just be ready :)))) It is easy, just be prepared! Good luck to you all!!
P.S. the wait is long, it is going to take awhile.
