Where do USCIS take fingerprints?
I saw many posts telling their fingerprints were taken from somewhere in the past without doing biometrics.

I wonder where exactly do USCIS take these fingerprints. If some of you know, please share with me!

If you have already done biometrics for some other applications (for example, filed for i485 first and do biometrics and then file for EAD later), then makes sense.
But otherwise where can USCIS take your fingerprints? I wonder because I see many people who report approvals without biometrics.

I assume they are not using fingerprints from entry at airport. I did some fingerprinting for my old visas at US embassy/consulate, can they use these fingerprints of mine??

I'm kind of feeling waiting for biometrics is a really crazy idea because I started feeling that USCIS just forgot earlier applications and just schedule for someone from recent applications . We can't remind them of this unless 3 months of normal processing time pass.
