  • 7th year H1B ??

    Hi gurus,

I have valid EAD and AP valid until Feb.2015.

Six year H1B usage comes to an end during Aug.2013. Various forum has tons of information on H1B 7th year Vs EAD. But still, I need an opinion on the following:

    1) Having a 7th year extended H1B at hand and 485 getting denied, for some reason, invalidates both the 7th year extended H1B and EAD. Am I missing something here?

    Any thoughts, please.
    Thank you.

Its better to extend your H1b. In case if you have any problems with your AOS then you can switch back to H1.

In case your I-485 denied, still your H1 will be valid and you can stay legally in the USA.

(Is your GC sponsoring company and H1 sponsoring company is same? then there will be no problem at all)

Better get H1 extended, On the basis of approved I-140 you will get 3 years of h1 extension. (But now a days USCIS gives extension on the basis of project duration)

    Good Luck
