citizenship interview -lost my husband's certificate of naturalization

Hi,

I have my citizenship interview on November 5th, and I have been asked for my husband's certificate of naturalization which he has lost...we tried to get a replacement but it says that it takes almost 6 months to get it. My question is can I take my husband's current passport instead? and we also have a copy of his certificate...I do not know if I should take it to the interview. thank you !
