I-485 Denied - Administrative Error made by USCIS with Nationality

Hello,

I just received I-485 denied letter. USCIS argument is that I am a RUSSIAN citizen/national where I am not. I am Pakistani National and Citizen. I was just born in Russia back in 1976. When I applied for Adjustment of Status I-485 I provided my pakistani passport, national card and citizenship proff.

They have still taken me as russian citizen just because of my birth-certificate. back then it was USSR and my parents never pursued any citizenship with russia or so. My parents were pakistanis too at that time just posted in USSR back then in 76.

How can I reach out to USCIS and ask them to please fix the error and I have all the supporting documents to proff that I am pakistani.
I looked at expedited review of a case option, but I do not fit in any of the categories they have listed for it.

I have scheduled an Info-pass appointment to go meet them and show them/tell them that I am not russian.

does anyone have any experience? so I can get this issue corrected and my EAD can be re-activated and/or re-issued so I can go back to work and continue with my life with kids and house. Otherwise no job, no pay, no house(house put on sale), etc etc.

Hi,

I got a recent denial due to administrative error as well. I am still waiting for the official letter from USCIS but I just wanted to know what course of action are you going to take. Because I am on EAD as well and do not want to leave my job, house, family for a USCIS error.

I am currently going to pursue the following option since mine is a RFE related administrative error

Hi there, do they have a problem with approving Russians??? I'm Russian and my aos is on hold for more than a month after interview. Please share info that you know. Thanks
