I have had interview(Marriage based) on Feb 25.It was so smooth that officer only asked my biometrics information such as father's name and mother's name.he approved my green card.He told me that you would get your card within 2 weeks.

I have a question related to my social security.I have a social security number,however it allows me only work at campus because i had F1 visa before Green Card.Do need to notify social security administration my immigration status to update my social security?

Need Help in family based Green Card

Hello,

I tried to post my question at many places and also asked for the help from the administration but I could not get it so please bear me, I am posting here. I will be very much obliged if any one is there to help me.

I am the petitioner mother of over 21 years old unmarried daughter. She came to USA to get her green card in 2010 May but unfortunately she became over age, she did not get her green card and she had to go back to India in 2010. At the same time before she left I filed I-130 for her. She got a student visa from Bombay embassy in 2013 and currently doing her masters in USA. I got her approval notice in October 2013. Now the National Visa Center may send the file to Bombay embassy (India).

Now I have few questions ----

1) Can I inform National Visa Center and change her address from India to USA? So that she can get her green card faster as it takes 7 to 8 years waiting time in India.

2) Can she get an Employment based green card faster than this Family based Green Card ? how?

3) A person can get a green card after 5 years stay in the USA?

Please guide me as I don't know the immigration laws.
