  • Retrogression and AOS

    Hello,
What is the cut-off date of Sep 2005 that is being talked about in relation to the retrogression?
My I-140 got approved on/before Sep 30 2005. Still, is my I-485 approval
    affected by the retrogression?

    thanks,
    vcs

    Yes.

You can't file I-485 if your priority date is not current. Even if you had filed when your priority date was current, and when priority dates retrogated, it won't be processed until priority date is current again.

It doesn't clearly say what is the priority dates for 485 - Category EB2/EB3,how do we know what Current Priority date it is.

After the Retrogression the Priority Date started from 1998, so what is the current priority date going on? any idea where we can find this info- from the Processing times I see Dec'2004 from last 1 month.
