Greetings forum.

I have browsed a variety of immigration sites and the instructions/advice is unclear as to supporting documents required when filing the I-864.

Can I just provide full IRS Tax Return Transcripts (such as those provided from the IRS site?) http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

Or is it also/still necessary to obtain W2's?

IE: Are the Transcripts sufficient alone?

Tax forms with I-765

Hi, my friend and immigration attorney advised me to submit all my tax forms, including W-2, 1098-T, or whatever else applies in your case. I just tried to throw as much information at them as possible that might evince my financial solvency. So I also submitted bank statements, 401K, and offer letter for employment. Now, our application hasn't been approved yet, but I feel confident this was a good move as we were advised to do as much by an experienced immigration attorney.

PS, in the end our application was super thick! ... and the financial documents took up the vast majority of it.
