When I check the status of my case it's says "case ready for an interview " and as of the 21st January. But has not gotten a notice. Is this normal procedure ?

Hey I am on the same boat as you ... My case status said that the case ready to be schedule for an interview since jan 13 ... I called up uscis and they said if I don't hear anything by feb 13 to give them a call ...

I am nyc too. No nothing but I read somewhere that's the LIC field office is closed so cases are retired to nearby offices.

I did my finger print on jam 6th and on jam 13 my stays change to " case is ready to be schedule for interview ".. I haven't receive an update on my was card .... And heard nothing about the interview since jan 13th

wife and I sent her application for AOS and was received Jan.16th, 2015..... she did fingerprints 2.10.2015 and case is also ready for interview as of 2.18.2015

seems like everyone is waiting forever for the interview..... :/

Hey Pvmugan2015, My priority date is november 24 and my office is for Long Island,Holtsville. I did my biometric on dec 22 and the case status switched to case waiting to be scheduled for interview on dec 29 and since then I have been waiting. The good news is, after calling them and a little online research it seems like they are still processing october apps(apps who's status changed to case waiting for interview as of october), which means you must receive your notice next month sometime March-April and I am expecting April-May. if you just got an update for feb 18, I believe you are expecting to hear around June-July. If the processing goes faster even better. Just be patient and keep cross checking. Please update us if you hear back and your interview experience, thanks!

I called in yesterday an IO told me my case is still at msc and not sent to field office. I am a December filer. She says I have to wait.
