2 Weeks after Interview for Green Card

The officer was very rude. She even dont look to my face, but I was ready for this. Me and my husband ( yes! We are same sex marriage) we have everything that was as requested, but she only asked for the form I 130, marriage certificate, passport and i94. She has everything that she want in her hands already, because I hired a lawyer and he sent everything before. She ask my husband if him apply for my I 130 and I say yes. She say that the question was for him not for me lol. She ask me where a meet him than she say I will receive a notice in 15 to 45 days. Out side she said you will recive a notice soon.

Still did not hear anything from US IS yet? It is nearly 3 weeks

For Ryan, I saw some other exp about it and nearly the same to me .
Me and my wife attended the i485 adjustment of status interview
The Io only verified our information with the biographical forum then asked for evidence
We handed recent three months of utilities bills cable renters insurance bank account and credit card statements both on our names he had also photo albums about 8 of them he Did not even looked at it
The only question was asked was how WR met and if I ever head served with deportation and the reasons he asked it wAs that he had a note with my husband being in a watch list other then that he sees no problem but he will have to run extra background to check why the whish list my husband was never arrested or affiliated with any crime the. Io suggested it might be illegal work and that will not count As a problem ???? Other then the he mention that we look fine and if background won't reach a result he approves us what is this watch list he was talking about

I got an email Approved tonight, they said that they ordered a new card for me and will mail to my address soon. So happy Did u hear anything Ryan?

We are same sex couple in Chicago. We been together 6 years. We got married in April 2014 and applied for AOS in May 2014. We had our interview on Dec 11th 2014. Interview was very short. Maybe 7 min total. She asked us couple questions. How long we are together and how we met. She looked at some pictures and couple bills. She said we are approved and we should get a GC within 2 weeks. Right?! Well its two months after interview and we didn't hear anything back from USCIS. I went to infopass in January 2015 and they said that they pretty backlogged and our case is awaiting a decision. Damn. They are super slow. It's almost 9 months since we applied.

Yeah. I know one couple that got their green card last year in Chicago. Their process took 8 months.

My case is 2 months since interview. I think we should hear something in march for sure. Chicago is pretty overloaded.

Atlanta is overloaded too. The officer say I will receive a notice 15 to 45 days. Lets pray !!!

Any news on your case for me it had been 2 weeks
Nothing yet , my lawyer is an a hole
Apparently ins contacted him urgently
Was told by him he would check if any thing else needed yet he does not have time
Basically I have no idea of what's going on
