  • Concubinage as proof of marriage?

    Hello everyone.
Sorry to bother again but I would like to know if USCIS recozgine a concubinage certicate as another form of marriage?
This is the situation a couple of days ago we recieve the denied of our 485 form because of lack of documention proving marriage.here is the thing,
My parents got marry on 1985 by church only.
But never got marry by civil court, however they did a remarriage by civil court on 2004
But USCIS Denied that document because they wanted something from 2000 earlier but my parents don't have any way of having civil marriage documents from earlier 200 other than the church certicate.
Now can a concubinage document done earlier 90s be seem as another form of marriage?

CONCUBINAGE??????!!!! I think you might be referring to Common Law Marriage? No matter how you go around it, you must provide a government issued, certified marriage certificate.
