Processing times

So,I was reading this thread and now I have tons of questions.

We sent our papers in late Dec, they were received Dec 28th, we both live in NYC and were sent to the Chicago office.

We got the work and travel authorization in March. but the interview page only says ready to set date for interview, since February 17th. Nothing has happened since then.

Are our petitions for change of status being processed in the NBC, Chicago or NY? I believe it is either Chicago or NY, but not sure where, in Chicago the website says they are processing up to April 28th 2014 while NY says they are up to July 12 2014.

So where are you getting your dates from? And should I expect a 6-12 month processing time? My wife I US citizen.

So they finally updated the processing times ... For the Long Island field office they are working on June 2014

Unfortunately you need to wait for EAD first to get your SS.

Had the same story with my SS ! they told me the same to wait 4 weeks But it's not true. Got my SS card in 5 working days. ( I am January filler too, and my status didn't change at all for I-485 ) Still fingerprints fee was received.

Hi guys, I just got the receipt notice of action I-797C today. It says the Biometrics schedule will be mail to me. May I ask when will I get the Biometrics appointment?
I also want to apply for the Social security card. Can I use the receipt I-797C to apply it? I saw many people in the forum said they need EAD card to apply for SSC. However I haven't apply for my EAD yet.

If you notice though our office in long island states that the last time the office update their progress was on january 31 2015 and that they posted those dates on march 6 so i think they should be a little be ahead of may20th as stated on the chart dont you think?

Twenty we are in the same boat I check the processing times in the Long Island field office and it still says may 20th,2014 ... Ahhh it's making me craZy

Still waiting here , since January 21st my AOS stats: waiting to schedule interview . Got my ead in feb 5th and had a very pleasant experience at ss office. I got my ss in 6 days
