Yes, you can ignore the NVC. After about a year, you'll get a status request letter from the NVC, asking whether you are in the U.S. or wish to continue the NVC processing..

Based on Ray's suggestion it's obvious u didn't send an adjustment of status Form. Possible that was their reason y it was sent to NVC, but even so I didn't see any reason why they sent it there, instead of having USCIS, adjust your status.

However, besides, your adjustment of status form make sure you submit all other relevant forms and documents to prevent a RFE. Good luck!!

so here is the latest update about my situation:
went to lawyer today for legal advise , and she told me same thing as Ray:just ignore NVC and file for AOS , all should be ok!
