Hi everyone.
I am applying for adjustment of status through marriage. I am in New Jersey.
I applied in January, did fingerprint in February and received my work permit card in March.
On May 2nd 2015, my green card interview was scheduled. Everything was going smoothly until I lost my ead card. That was last week. I have tried filing a report but they won't do it unless I have a document from uscis, but when I call the 1800 number for uscis no one seems to know how to help me. I honestly don't need the card because I'm already working, I'm just concerned that they will ask me for it at the interview and I won't have it.
Has anyone experienced something like this? How important is it to bring your ead card to the interview? If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
Thanks
